News: New series updates

Hey,

I was planning small things here and there for an upcoming machinima series entitled "The Option", in which the first season basically revolved around a retired U.S. Marshal who returns to service after the killer of his friend is found. He's not only returning him to justice, but goes out on a personal vendetta against this man planning a nuclear extortion plot.

Well, it turns out that I never had enough time to get any meat on the series itself. I also had something else planned that would bear a striking similarity to "The Option" in terms of storylines and character conflicts that would be called "Bourbon Street". I had planned to make this a feature-length film released on the web as a 13-part miniseries. Since these two projects resemble each other so much, I made a decision to merge them, and take the best ideas of both, while keeping Bourbon Street's title. The Option's storyline would generally prevail, excluding the character and organisation names, and it would be a series containing 13 episodes per season. I'll put it on a trial run of one season, and I'll definitely complete the season, even if it isn't doing too well. At least I would've tried.

"Bourbon Street" came from the idea that a number of the main characters spent most of their lives on the New Orleans road. They are also stationed there as part of the American Army.

I'm pretty sure I have something on this series, and it could be a potential success. I'm currently writing the script for the pilot episode, entitled "In The Beginning...", which was the name for The Option's first episode.

Thanks,
Andrew
